The space
Achterom 4 is a charming, authentic fisherman's cottage in the old centre of Zandvoort, tucked away in a quiet alley just behind the main shopping street. From the house it’s only a few minutes’ walk to the wide beach, the dunes and the lively terraces in the village. Inside, you can feel the charm of days gone by, combined with the comfort and amenities of today, ideal for a relaxing stay by the sea. Enjoy a cosy holiday home where you will feel at ease right away. On the ground floor you will find a comfortable living room with a wood-burning stove, a pleasant dining area, and a fully equipped kitchen where you can easily prepare something delicious. Upstairs there are two comfortable bedrooms: a spacious master bedroom under the charming sloping roof, and a second bedroom with two single beds. The bathroom offers both a bath and a shower, perfect for unwinding after a day out. Outside, a terrace with a dining area and BBQ invites you to spend long, relaxed evenings in the garden. A wonderful place for a restful stay with your family or a cosy getaway with friends.

Zandvoort train station is about a 5-minute walk from your accommodation and offers direct connections to Amsterdam and Haarlem, as well as indirect connections to destinations such as Schiphol Airport and The Hague.

This way, you can easily combine the dynamic energy of our capital with the charm and coziness of our village, where events take place all year round for all ages. For nature lovers, the nearby Waterleidingduinen and National Park Kennemerduinen offer stunning hiking and cycling trails through pristine landscapes. For adventurers, there are plenty of activities, such as mountain biking, kite or wave surfing lessons, sailing, and horseback riding. Zandvoort is also home to Circuit Park Zandvoort, an iconic venue hosting thrilling motorsport events—a must for speed and adrenaline enthusiasts.
